Ocampo, a senior, played a season-high 97 minutes in the extra-time affair that included an hour-long delay due to lightning near the LU Soccer Complex. Voting for one’s own athlete is not permitted. To earn honorable mention, a student-athlete must appear on 25 percent of ballots. UCA allowed just one goal and four shots on goal in two full games, thanks in large part to Hair’s work at the right back position. She continually shut down runs and pushed forward to jumpstart a Bears attack that scored seven times in two matches. The freshman defender also chipped in offensively, converting from the penalty spot in UCA’s win over Oral Roberts on Wednesday.
